The Media Access Control (MAC) address is a unique 12-digit hexadecimal number assigned to the network interface (e.g. ethernet card) in your network-enabled device.

Note: Your wireless will need to be enabled in order to locate your MAC address. If you are not sure how to enable wireless on your device please refer to the instructions that came with your device.

iPhone/iPod/iTouch/iPad

1. To figure out the MAC address of your iPhone, start at the Home screen.
2. Select Settings, General, then select About.
3. Scroll down and look for Wi-Fi Address, that is your iPhone MAC address.

Android OS

1. From the Home screen, press Settings.
2. Select General or More option at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll down and tap About device.
4. Tap Status.
5. Scroll down to view the Wi-Fi MAC address.

Windows Mobile 6

1. Enable WiFi.
2. Click Start, Settings, Connections, WiFi Manager.
3. In WiFi Manager, in the bottom right-hand corner, click MENU, then select About.
4. The fourth item listed is MAC Address.

Windows Mobile 5

1. Select Start, Settings.
2. Select the tab for Connections, then select Wireless LAN.
3. Select the Advanced tab.
4. The address will be listed as MAC.

Blackberry

1. At the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Scroll to and select the Options icon.
3. Scroll to and select Status to view the WLAN MAC address.

Palm OS

Many Palm devices will have the MAC address clearly marked on the back of the device. Older Palm OS devices did not have built-in wireless capabilities and required an add-on wireless card. If the Palm device has an add-on wireless card, please refer to the manual of the add-on card for information on how to obtain the MAC address.
